Sage-ing Curriculum Workshop #I
(The Beginning Series)
Winter Haven Hospital is pleased to present, as a part of the Sage-ing Program, the beginning Sage-ing Curriculum Workshop #1, running from July 10 to August 28, 2008, from 2:00 pm – 4:00pm. The workshop will be held at the Gill Jones Center, 3425 Lake Alfred Road (Hwy 17 N.) Winter Haven.
Would you like to live life more fully? Examine the myths of aging and begin affirming the elder years. Discover the lessons your life has to offer. This series of workshops helps us to cherish each year of our life experiences and to acknowledge that the second half of our life is a time of continued growth, not decline.
The program is for adults of all ages. The sessions teach us to look forward to our future years and embrace them with energy and joy. It is an interactive program---we learn from each other. You will explore the meaning of forgiveness, get in touch with your inner wisdom and much more. Chuck Warren, Nationally Certified Sage-ing Leader, and the Winter Haven Hospital’s Sage-ing Coordinator, will facilitate these workshops.
For more information and to reserve your space, please call the Winter Haven Hospital Health Connection at 291-6705 or 1-800-416-6705 (M-F, 8am-4pm). The series is free and open to the public.
